Dear SPANites,

We are glad to announce the start of SPAN Internship Program (SIP) Batch-1 for the year 2010.

Objective of the Program

Objective of the program has always been to encourage young talents, groom them according to SPAN culture, working methodology, and to provide the right opportunity to explore and gain professional experience. This program enables the candidates to hone their working skills and enter the IT industry.

• Mentoring and technical guidance from experienced software professionals

Prerequisites for candidates taking part in SIP

We are looking for graduates - B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A / M.Sc degree holders 2008/ 2009 pass-out and those who have undergone training from the reputed training institutions are considered for this programme. The duration of this SIP programme will be for two months, as we assume that the candidates have basic knowledge of the technologies. We will be planning one more batch of SIP interns (regular, 3 months course) during July 2010.

The entrance test of 1-hour duration will comprise -

• Part I - General Aptitude: Analytical, Arithmetic, Verbal & Reasoning.
• Part II - Technical: Java, Dotnet, Testing, Database, (Candidate has to choose his/her platform before the test)

Successful candidates will be called for an interview before being inducted into SIP 2010 Batch -1.

Employee Referrals

As an introducer of the candidate, it is the responsibility of the employee to enter the requested details in the application available on the Intranet. We will not consider any resumes sent directly by the candidates.

From the URL http://intranet.spanservices.com, select the Domain as General, Log in with your Windows credentials, and enter the details of the candidates. When you save the details, a list appears at the bottom of the page and will allow you to enter the next candidate’s details. You can also delete an entry from the list by selecting the trash bin icon next to the entry.

Note: For those employees who are out of office or on-site, please send the resume as an email to Aparnaa_t@spanservices.com.

The last date to submit the referrals is 15.02.2010.
