DCI (Development Centre India) works for Siemens AG Power Generation Automation division in Germany and is located in Gurgaon (near Delhi). They are looking for software professionals with 2 to 5 years relevant experience to be a part of this global team and may need to work overseas for short/ long term duration.
The DCI team which is a part of SISL - CT DC India – Energy division has organized a buddy referral walk-in recruitment drive on March 27th, 2010 (Saturday) between 9.30AM and 3.00PM.

Position 1: Software Developer - Core Java
Essential:
- Object oriented concepts and XML
- Core Java ( including RMI, sockets, multi-threading, real-time/ distributed programming)
- Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP and UDP)
- Protocol development experience and SNMP protocol
- Developments tools (Eclipse, ant, apache, tomcat, Junit)
Add- on preferred:
- Component-based architecture, Design patterns, OOAD, UML
- Basic knowledge of tools (DOORS, Clear Case)
- Sun Certified Java Professional
Position 2: Domain Tester
Essential:
- Engineering and Commissioning of DCS
- Experience in FAT/ SAT
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of third-party protocols such as Modbus, OPC, IEC, DNP
Add- on preferred:
- DCS Software testing
- ISTQB/ CSTE certification
For both positions, the candidates need to possess excellent analytical, verbal and written communication , team player skills and result and quality orientation. Knowledge of power generation domain in the area of plant automation & control systems & knowledge of Siemens control systems (S7 series) will be added advantage.
