Product Design Engineers (Job Code: PDE):
Overall 7 – 12 years of experience in product design with at least four years of experience in Automotive /Off-highway equipment leading a team for product design and new product development. Candidates should have hands on experience in 3D design using tools like ProE, UG etc., and conversant with sheet metal design techniques and production processes. Candidates should be exposed to the complete product development process, good in interpreting the requirements, making design calculations and aid the team in taking design decisions. Experience in engine Integration with the vehicle to include design of engine mounts, transmission modification, selection of cooling system, exhaust and air intake system with knowledge of exhaust emission regulations, exposure to electrical and hydraulic systems will be an added advantage. Candidates with 9-12 years of experience would be considering for project management roles. They should have exposure to the design lifecycle of a product along with xperience in leading teams and managing all the aspects of project management. Structural Analysis Lead Engineers (Ansys / Hypermesh / Ansys Workbench / Abaqus) (Job Code : FEA)
5 to 9 years of experience in structural analysis of Heavy machinery / aerospace / automotive components. Candidates should be conversant with one or more areas in the following nalyses: static, dynamic, non-linear involving contacts, large deformation. Functional knowledge of heavy machinery, experience in structural fatigue, usage of FE-SAFE will be considered as an added advantage. Candidates should be good at understanding / converting the design requirements into FEA methodology, interpreting FEA results to support design decisions and suggest solutions. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech/ M.E. / M.Tech (Mechanical / Aero / Automotive / Industrial)
Technical Publication Engineer (Authoring/Illustration) (Job Code : TPE)
3 to 9 years of experience in Technical writing/illustration for Heavy machinery / aerospace / automotive. Candidates should be conversant with engineering drawings, interpret the operation/functions of the machinery, Operator Manual/Parts Catalog. Hands on experience in Heavy Machinery will be added advantage. Candidates should have hands on experience on publication tools like Framemaker, Isodraw, adobe illustrator etc. Candidates with 7-9 years of experience will be considered for lead positions. Piping Stress Analysis and Support Design Engineers (Job Code: PSD)
3-10 years experience in piping stress analysis in the power plant sector. The candidates should have hands on experience on flexibility calculation, stress analysis under static and dynamic conditions, assessment of logical support locations for optimum stresses, design the support hardware (using the stress analysis support calculations), checking for interferences with adjacent structures and documentation. Knowledge of ASME 31.1 code and ASTM and ASME material properties is essential. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Mechanical)
Civil Structural Engineers (Job Code: CS)
Civil structural engineers with 5-10 years of experience in the power plant sector experienced in design of concrete and steel structures, materials and modular construction techniques. Knowledge in ACI and AISC standards is essential. Responsibilities include performance of structural integrity calculations in ANSYS and GTStrudl computer codes, performing global and local structural evaluations, sizing of structural shapes – plate, beam and various support structures. Working knowledge with 3D models and engineering databases is essential. Knowledge of structural modules design that is traditionally used in off shore platforms and petro-chemical industry is desirable. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Civil)
Instrumentation & Control Engineers (Job Code: I&C)
Electronics and Instrumentation engineers with 5-10 years experience in Power Plant Automation. The candidates should have worked on DCS (Ovation DCS/bb Advant 160 OCS/Honeywell/BB-Bailey/Siemens/Invensys-Foxboro), Engineering and programming of SCADA & PLC, design and implementation. Knowledge and experience with different field bus systems and protocols is absolutely necessary. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering)
PDS piping layout specialist (Job Code: PDS)
8 to 10 years in power plant piping design, piping layout, proposal preparation, 3D modeling of Equipment, Structures Cable trays and pipe routing based on P&ID’s and change request in Power Plant environment. Should have got hands on experience in: Develop standard sets structural, mechanical and electrical components for implementation in Intergraph PDS including Frame Works Plus and Smart Plant Foundation libraries. Confirm design fit-ups, interferences, clearances, manufacturability, and installability, using 3D modeling/drafting tools. Provide input to engineering with respect to design integrity, drafting standards, cost-effective changes, etc. Perform calculations and/or data summaries to support design process. Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical)
