Job Description:

Candidate should take responsibility and ownership for the analysis, design, coding, testing and status reporting of a work product. Delivery of module as per project plan and quality standards  Drive SLA adherence within the team. Ensure error free deliverables by driving adherence to quality assurance norms and guidelines. Project / Process. Understand and translate requirements into design. Provide input on technical effort estimation to arrive at re sourcing plans. Track, monitor and report on SLA’s, ensure variances are addressed or escalated. Provide remote technical support through problem analysis and assistance. Provide support for code-related problems and for routine, installation and usage questions. Do technical reviews of code and test plans created by team members. Participate in deployment, system testing, UAT (onsite and offshore).Engage in peer reviews during design, coding and testing. Ensure adherence to quality processes. Prepare implementation plans when moving a code to production. Perform system testing and monitoring. Contribute to process improvement initiatives (best practices, six sigma etc).Drive Knowledge Management process. Provide status reports to the onsite team. Measure schedule variations and also defect metrics related to the module. People / Team. Assign and monitor work done by the team. Mentor and guide team, coach team members based on their developmental needs. Conduct training through academy and induction of own team members. Enable knowledge sharing within and across teams

Mandatory Skill:

  • Experience in understanding requirements documentations such as (Use case Based, Functional Flow diagrams & Requirements specifications)

  • Experience in converting the requirements in to Test Cases Writing the test scripts with Input Criteria and Exit Criteria’s (required inputs and expected results)

  • Experience in executing the Test Script and documenting actual results through clarity in defect history maintenance such as Defect Classification, Tracking, Detailed Definition, Grouping and Summarizing and Reporting etc, using either of the tools such as Bugzila, PVCS Tracker, Clear Quest etc.
  • Experience in configuration and deployment procedures

  • Experience in conducting Unit Testing, Functional & Regression tests

  • Coordinating with users for completion of User Acceptance Testing & results verification

  • Excellent experience in Quality Center is required.

  • Experience in SCRUM methodology is required.

  • Experience in handling a big team is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication skills is a must.


Desire Skills:

  • Have proven skills and hands on experience on Automation using QTP (or any open source automation tool)

  • Experience in Selenium is an added advantage.


Qualification: B.Tech, M.SC, MTECH, MCA
