Position Title: Senior Software Engineer
Experience-4-6 Years

Position Purpose
In this role you will be involved in developing and maintaining SharePoint applications. The environment is fast paced and dynamic, requiring the individual to have solid technical knowledge and the ability to quickly adapt to the change.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and support custom applications built on Microsoft Office SharePoint server (MOSS) platform
· Provide key hands-on development skills to projects
· Follow specifications, plans and designs in order to analyze complex and business critical software solutions
· Utilize appropriate software engineering best practices
· Individual should be a self starter, work independently or as a team member, and have strong communication skills in interfacing with various stakeholders.
· Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application
· Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, to meet deadlines and complete tasks in timely manner as assigned
· Participates in project team activities and contributes to documentation requirements consistent with methodology
· Able to work collaboratively with other developers and specifically to provide direction to other SharePoint developers
Experience Required (years & overall competencies):
· 3+ year’s senior development experience in enterprise level, and web based application systems.
· 2+ year’s with .NET development and with SQL server
· Have proven team working and team leading abilities
· Must have good written and verbal communications.
· Planning and organization skills.
· Thorough knowledge of Windows SharePoint 3.0 and MOSS 2007 Architecture
· Working knowledge of MOSS
· Experience developing and supporting SharePoint solutions for Intranets and other Business applications
· Strong foundation with designing/developing/configuring web parts and solid understanding of web applications in a SharePoint environment
· Working knowledge of SharePoint Workflow Development
· Planning and designing site navigation using SharePoint navigation controls
· Creating and coding site master pages for top level and sub sections of the site
· Creating and coding custom Web authoring and collaboration template sets
· Strong ASP.NET 2.0 concepts with C#
· Minimum 1 years each required:
o Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)
o SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
o SSRS integration with MOSS
o SQL
o .Net C#
o ASP.NET
Experience Preferred:
· Outsourced/offshore application development
· SSRS integration with MOSS
Required Technology Skills:
· MOSS 2007, Microsoft .NET 2.0, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server 2005
Preferred Technology Skills:
· SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI) and SSRS experience
Education & Certifications (required or preferred):
· BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management or like degree. MS preferred.
· Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD.NET) or Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD .NET) is preferred
