Senior / Staff Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Participates in the analysis and the conceptual design of proposed projects and develops solutions, utilizing professional experience in the development of specifications, design parameters and alternative solutions.
· Implements and maintains code for the all the work.
· Maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work.
Qualifications:
· BE/ME in Electronics/Computer science with 7+ years of experience in the following:
1. Windows NDIS Miniport and Windows StorPort and Miniport drivers
2. Knowledge of running WHQL tests and identifying and fixing issues arising out of it.
· Knowledge of network protocols like L2NIC, iSCSI.
· Must have excellent analytical & debugging skills.
· Team player with the ability to work with teams across multiple sites
Senior Engineer – Driver
Duties & responsibilities:
· Design and development of Device Drivers for multi-protocol adapter (NIC, iSCSI, FC/FCoE)
· IO Virtualization for Network and Storage Drivers
· Custom driver extensions
· Pre-boot applications (UEFI, Legacy Option ROM Boot Code, OpenBoot)
Qualification:
· BE/ME in Electronics/Computer science with 7+ years of experience
· C programming and knowledge of kernel internals and TCP/IP Stack of one of Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX
· Must have done kernel Device Drivers for NIC, Storage Adapters
· Should have experience in debugging integrated systems (hardware, software and firmware)
· Should have used debugging tools like ICE, PCI analyser, etc.
· Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, iSCSI or FCoE
· Knowledge of Device Drivers (any UNIX, preferably Linux) for Storage (FC, FCoE, iSCSI) and NIC
Staff Engineer – Boot
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and development of Option ROM BIOS for a multi-protocol adapter.
- Pre-boot applications (UEFI, x86/Legacy BIOS Option ROM, OpenBoot)
- IPMI, Remote Management services
- Custom BIOS Extensions for OEM specific requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE/ME in Electronics/Computer science with 5+ years of experience.
- C programming and Assembly (x86) programming skills
- Must have done Boot code, and worked in Pre-Boot Environment
- Should have experience in debugging integrated systems (hardware, software and firmware)
- Should have used debugging tools like ICE, PCI analyser, etc.
- Must have been involved in bringup of at least one Option ROM boot
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCPIP, iSCSI or FCoE
- BIOS or EFI Platform Internals for Networking (PXE, UNDI) and Storage (SPT, int13)
- Knowledge of Device Drivers (Windows, Linux) for Storage (FC, FCoE, iSCSI) and NIC
Senior Engineer (QA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
· The candidate will be part of a core team forging best-in-class, next-generation Data Centre Ethernet products.
· The role includes EVT and DVT of DCE/FCoE product/modules, developing automated tools and test cases with comprehensive coverage of Firmware, Driver and Application.
· The candidate will work closely with other software engineers and DVT in Qualifying DCE/FCoE Adapter.
Minimum Qualifications
· Must have a minimum 5 years of experience testing application software in Storage or Networking domain.
· Candidate should have scripting experience in Python or Perl.
· Experience testing with other third party 10G NIC, iSCSI & FCoE cards.
· It would be a plus if the candidate can script in Python, Perl or 'C'.
Senior engineer – San Diags
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and applies state of art engineering and scientific theories and methods to the solution of complex technical problems.
- Works without much supervision.
- Plans organizes and performs the technical phases of an assignment and interacts with design engineers on technical aspects relating to the project.
Qualifications:
- BS/BTech/BE in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ Application Development and debugging on Windows and/or Unix platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of Software development process.
- Experience in development and debugging C++ applications on Windows and Unix Operating Systems.
- SAN, Networking or Telecom domain knowledge is preferred. Ability to work with minimal inputs.
· Knowledge on networking protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP is mandatory.
